The house
Who is the space for?
Anyone whose work or play sits outside the ordinary. Facilitators running events, workshops and retreats in kink, tantra, naturism and embodied work, and the people who come to them. Everyone is welcome.
Is House of Surrender sex positive?
Yes. It is sex positive and body positive. We made it as a space for freedom of expression, where our community can teach in safety and attend in safety. Consent sits at the centre of all of it.
Is nudity okay?
The house is body positive, and naturist events are welcome here. Whether clothing is optional depends on the event. Each event sets its own agreements, so check with whoever is running it. If you are planning a naturist event, tell us when you enquire.
Where is House of Surrender?
In Ubud, Bali. We share the exact address once your booking is confirmed.
What spaces are there?
Three. Brahma Shala is indoor and comfortably holds 36. Shivatri Temple is indoor, inside the main house, and comfortably holds 26. Kali Shala is an open-air pavilion in the garden and comfortably holds 16.
What else is on the grounds?
A pool, an open field, gardens, and a kitchen and dining space.
Hiring the house
Can I run a kink, tantra or naturist event here?
Yes. That is what the house was built for. Tell us about your event when you enquire, and we will reply within 24 hours.
How can I hire the house?
Four ways: a half day, a full day, a multi-day retreat, or the whole property.
Can I hire a space by the hour?
No. We do not do hourly hire. A half day is the shortest booking.
Is food included?
Catering from our kitchen is available, or you can bring your own.
Can participants stay at the house?
No. Participants stay off site, as there is no guest accommodation. We have on-site accommodation for up to two facilitators.
How much does it cost?
We do not publish a price list. Every quote is built around your dates, your group and the spaces you need. Send us an enquiry and we will put one together.

Are your gatherings free?
Yes. Our own gatherings are free.
How do I get a place?
Every place is held through the Threshold. Request a place there. We read every application ourselves, and if it is a fit, we send you your booking details privately.
Is there an age limit?
COED is for people 18 and over.
What language are gatherings held in?
English.
